Media.net (Yahoo/Bing Contextual Ads)

Media.net Yahoo Bing

Media.net is a contextual Ad publisher network which provides revenue on the basis of cost-per-click, impressions or page views.

If your website has a majority of the audience from countries like USA, France or UK then Media.net can be the best alternative to Google Adsense.

They have a variety of Ad formats and sizes for both Desktop and Mobile bases sites which you can customize according to your website’s design.

However, their reporting system isn’t very good and doesn’t provide much detail. Also, you need to get each of your website approved separately in your publisher panel if you are planning to use Media.net ads on it.

For me, Revenue Hits gave better results than Adversal.  However, it still stands in a good position among the other Google Adsense alternatives.

  • Great post. Google Adsense is the leading money making source for many bloggers. But they often ban their users for various reasons, which is a major headache for all bloggers.

Infolinks is a great website that helps us to make handsome money. The best about this network is that we can place both Adsense and Infolinks Ads in same blog/website because Infolinks doesn’t interrupt Adsense laws.

Also, they offer many ad units for their publishers which are the reason for choosing this network.
One again thanks for sharing this with us. Keep writing.

    Have a good day!

  • Nice article. I have 2 sites and I currently have adsense on both of them. I for the most part only makes cents everyday. Occasionally I might make a dollar in a day. I think I need to step up and get more traffic to my sites.

I have a question about putting adsense on my YouTube videos. Most of my videos are from concerts & from performances or interviews I recorded from the TV. Is it ok to put adsense on those videos? I had a YouTube account awhile ago that was terminated by YouTube because of copyright protection from 3 of my videos. If I put adsense on my videos & I end up with another terminated account (which I pray I don’t, if I see it says copyright after I put the video I usually delete the video) could my adsense account get terminated too?

I’ve seen that if your adsense account gets terminated you can never sign up for another one again. Is that true?

Sorry if I wrote a novel. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Actually, I have tried all of them as Google Alternatives. But The truth is that no one compete with Adsense at all. For smaller blogs I would advise about:
Amazon Display ads : one of LOW CPM ad network.
Bidvertisor and Clicksor: serve low-quality ads, so your site may be flagged as malicious.
Viglink, Skimlinks, Infolinks, Chitika: Low rates. Infolinks makes blogs look too busy when they use the inframe and infold ads.

RevenueHits is a SPAM ad networks. You can check it’s reputation on the internet.

Adversal, Adsoptimal, Media[.]net are still BEST high paying Google Adsense alternatives for our blog. They have better designs, which provides better result next to AdSense.

From my experience, I would like to say, don’t limit yourself to any one AD NETWORK. Try other ad networks and see which one work the best with your micro-niche blog. Since you are trying micro-niche blog, try monetizing with affiliate products. I would recommend to you & for others to try more network, and figure out which one is working best for their blog type.

  • Adsense is definitely the best but recently we’ve been having great success with sponsored content platforms such as content.ad. If the ad placement is right, it can make a big difference to CPM’s. Also, AddPlay.com is working really well for us and has opened up video ad inventory for our site.

  • Hi Shrivant,

Great Post on Adsense Alternatives. Truly Google Adsense is one of the best ways to make money from a blog but we all know it does not work for everyone. So this alternatives will definitely be of help if they decided to stop using adsense.

However I have been using this course for quite some time and it’s helped me increase my adsense earnings really quick.

  • Nice post! When I first came online back in 2008 Adsense was how I started to try to make money online. But once Google started slapping sites I just threw my hands up and got out of it altogether. I don’t even go near Adsense anymore.

  • These are very good ad networks, but in my humble opinion, none of them can be a real alternative to Google. I’ve personally tried Bidvertiser and BuySellAds together, but couldn’t earn half of the amount that I was getting with Google AdSense.
If for any reason, Google bans your blog or account from their Ad platform, you might use these alternatives, but the first choice is always Google AdSense.

  • Great Post on Adsense Alternatives. Truly Google Adsense is one of the best ways to make money from a blog but we all know it does not work for everyone. So this alternatives will definitely be of help if they decided to stop using adsense.
